In celebration of its growing popularity, the Al Dar Restaurant in Emirates Park Zoo and Resort is introducing a host of new specialty dishes with a spotlight on Khaleeji and Lebanese cuisine. Encroached in the rustic foliage of greenery and the soft murmurs of the zoo, Al Dar Restaurant offers a unique experience that is a combination of tasty comfort food, gorgeous forest-themed ambience and warm hospitality.

Executive Chef Abdul Menaem Al Hmaidi said, “I like to present diners with a spin on the traditional Arab dishes. Each item on the menu comes with my personalized touch. Cold Mezza that goes by the name Humus Triple Delight is my signature dish, also a favorite among our regulars”.

The chef doles out large plates of aromatic mandi loaded with perfectly cooked meat that oozes juices packed with flavor. Sizzling pakoras stuffed with spiced meat, stews tying together the rich vegetables with meat, slow cooked eggplants fused with tahini, Middle Eastern kibbeh, and a platter of lamb, beef, chicken and fish grills are highlights of the savory menu. Guests can rummage the extensive list that offers an impressive variety of Arabic specialties that will leave even the most discerning foodie comfortably full and satisfied.

“On popular demand, I plan on revamping the menu by bringing in more seafood dishes. In addition, guests will soon find the best fakhra of the city, chicken rolls, biriyani, patatas and fresh salads. My aim is to find more stylish techniques of presentation that is sure to leave everyone spell bound,” he added.
