Zayed Sports City set to debut cool winter camp in December

Zayed Sports City, the UAE’s premier sports and entertainment venue, will launch its first ever winter sessions of ZSC Kids Holiday Camp this December, offering a wide range of exciting outdoor activities to keep children entertained and active during the school holidays. 

The all-new winter schedule includes activities that will get children’s hearts pumping such as ‘Wet ‘N Wild’ paintball and football. The ZSC Kids Holiday Camp’s programme also includes always-popular ice skating, plus basketball, bowling, arts and crafts, and a variety of outdoor games. There are nine hours of fun planned each day, making it the longest programme in the capital and ideally positioned to accommodate busy families. 

“We’re thrilled to expand our highly successful kids camps programme by offering winter sessions for the first time ever this December,” said Barry Bremner, General Manager of Zayed Sports City. 

The winter session builds on the momentum of the spring and summer camps held earlier this year, which saw more than 280 children take part. Furthermore, over the past two years, Zayed Sports City’s Summer Camp has recorded a 100 per cent growth in Emirati participants.

Bremner added: “The demand is certainly there, and it is rapidly growing amongst local families. These are fantastic indicators of a changing Abu Dhabi, where the future looks healthy and extremely active! ZSC Kids Holiday Camp is the perfect opportunity for children to take advantage of the holiday break, play in the beautiful weather, and have fun with their new best friends at our world-class facilities.”  

 Zayed Sports City’s children’s camps are parent-certified, as post-camp surveys show that 100 per cent of parents would re-register their child and recommend the activities to a friend. 

ZSC Kids Holiday Camp takes place at Zayed Sports City from 13-17 and 20-24 December 2015. Registration costs AED 1,000, which is inclusive of five full days of activities and two snacks. A sibling discount to AED 900 has also been introduced for this season.
