World’s leading water brand Waiwera supplies water to Al Ahli Football Club

Waiwera Artesian Water, the world’s leading water brand from New Zealand which is internationally renowned for its award-winning taste, impressive health qualities and iconic green bottle, announced at a press conference held today that it will be the official supplier of water to Al Ahli Football Club players during the 2015/16 season.

We are proud to be the official water supplier to Al Ahli football Club – one of the pillars of the UAE’s football and sports scene,” said Ahmed Al Raeesi, Chairman of Adyton One General Trading, the exclusive agent of Waiwera Water in the Middle East.

 Al Ahli Club was founded in September 1970 following the merger of the two clubs of Al Wahda and Al Shabab. The club has since then achieved outstanding performance and excellent results in all competitions in which it has participated since its inception, and this was capped by winning the two league and cup championships in a single season, which was the 1974-1975 season, and became the first club to achieve such an accomplishment. When the Pro League was launched in the 2008-2009 season, Al Ahli Club was the first to win, and in the 2011-2012 seasons, Al Ahli Club achieved the Etisalat Cup Championship.
