Five hundred of the UAE’s fittest athletes have now qualified for ‘The Armour Challenge’, a thrilling new fitness event that will see them take on eight unique challenges at THE BEACH, opposite JBR this Friday (April 22) morning.
‘The Armour Challenge’ is part of the premium sportswear brand Under Armour’s (NYSE:UA) entrance into the Middle East market, and has seen hundreds of fitness fanatics from around the country take part in the intense qualifying round.
As the athletes gear up for the final test, they will look to defeat the current leaders and familiar local fitness industry big names including Shastri Ramjoomia, Abdullah Tarabishi and Muhamamad Abdul Qudoos Subhanito to win AED 40,000 worth of product.
Challengers face a tough test on Friday with the course set by Under Armour’s local brand ambassadors: seven-time Guinness World Record breaker Eva Clarke and popular UAE fitness industry figure Grant Goes.
Designed for speed, strength, agility and endurance, the course includes: A shuttle run, sled run, ski erg, sack over shoulder, assault bike, tire flip, bag and pull carry, and a ball throw.
Featuring men's, women's and youth apparel, footwear and accessories, Under Armour’s new City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Festival City, Dalma Mall and Yas Mall stores offer the brand's latest innovations, all designed to make athletes look, feel and perform at their best.
