‘Three60 Leisure’ organises its first charity sports event: ‘Waha Capital Pink Biathlon’

Organised by ‘Three60 Leisure’, a premier provider of innovative community lifestyle management solutions, the first ‘Waha Capital Pink Biathlon’ will take place on Friday 30th October, 2015 between08.00am and 10.00am, at Saadiyat Public Beach, Abu Dhabi. In association with the charity ‘Pink Caravan’, and sponsored by leading Abu Dhabi-based investment company ‘Waha Capital’, the event aims to support breast cancer awareness.

‘Three60 Leisure’ provides innovative community activities and events, from fitness classes to educational workshops and is the subsidiary of property management company, ‘Three60 Communities’.

More than 500 people are expected to take part in the charity run, swim, run event catering to all abilities and ages, from children to adults. The biathlon consists of a 1600 meter run, 500 meter swim, and a final 1600 meter run, with half-distance for children under 15 years-old.

Commenting on the ‘Waha Capital Pink Biathlon’ - which ties in with International Breast Cancer Month , Eltizam Asset Management Group’s Executive Director Chris Roberts said: “We are honoured that Three60 Leisure’s first charity event is supporting breast cancer awareness. Through joint efforts we are uniting to educate people about the disease and promote early detection for UAE women and men.”

He added: “The ‘Waha Capital Pink Biathlon’ is a fun way of bringing this important issue to the forefront of people’s minds, and we are encouraging people from across the city to do their bit and go pink!”

Registration and race pack collection will take place at 07.00am, with the run starting at 08.00am. The timing will be provided by ‘ProChip’ on the moderate difficulty course. Supports stations are available throughout and spectators can show their support from the beach.  All runners and walkers taking part will receive a race singlet and refreshments, plus the chance to win exciting prizes.
