TASTE OF DUBAI ADDS FIRE TO SIZZLING LINE-UP

Taste of Dubai has revealed five new big name additions to the sizzling line-up of celebrity chefs for this year’s showpiece event, including Jean-Christophe Novelli, Andy Bates, Jose Pizarro, Dhruv Baker and Emirati baking sensation Bader Al Awadhi.

The famous five will join world acclaimed chefs Atul Kochhar and Master Chef champion Tim Anderson, planning to entertain attendees with an array of delicious flavours from around the world.

More international celebrity chefs will be announced for Taste of Dubai, which runs from 12-14 March in Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, in the coming weeks.

Jean-Christophe Novelli, the 5 out of 5, AA Rosette and multi - Michelin Star award winning chef, has confirmed his return to Dubai. The Frenchman will wow crowds in the Cookery School and Chef’s Theatre with tantalising dishes from his numerous books and popular Jean-Christophe Novelli Academy.

Food Network favourite Andy Bates is looking forward to introducing Taste of Dubai to his famed hearty street food creations, infusing modern twists onto classic dishes.

TV chef and author Jose Pizarro will delight guests with a selection of Spanish tapas and traditional dishes straight from his London restaurants Jose and Pizarro, which have both welcomed celebrated chefs from around the globe.

Master Chef winner Dhruv Baker will be sharing his passion for Indian cuisine and experience of working in some of Europe’s finest restaurants.

Meanwhile, 18 year-old Emirati master baker Bader Al Awadhi will bring a local UAE flavour to the Taste menu with his passion for desserts. Self-taught Al Awadhi is the star of TV cookery shows including ‘Sukkar Zyadah’ on Sama Dubai TV, and ‘Ma’a Bader’ on Abu Dhabi TV Al Emarat.

“Standing alongside international culinary geniuses and participating in Taste of Dubai will be an incredible opportunity for me,” said Al Awadhi. “I can’t wait for visitors to taste the exciting dishes that we have in store!”

“We’re looking forward to bringing another sizzling line-up of the world’s best chefs to Dubai next month for our biggest and tastiest festival yet,” said Chris Fountain, Managing Director of event organisers Turret Media.

“Taste of Dubai prides itself on delivering a world-class experience for our visitors, giving them the chance to meet their favourite chefs and try delicious food from Dubai’s finest restaurants,” he added.

Guests will be able to meet their favourite celebrity chefs during Cookery School, Chef’s Theatre, and book signing sessions, as well as during the new Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets, Interactive Cookery Classes and Chef’s Top Table features over the course of the three-day festival.

Taste of Dubai takes place at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 March 2015. The festival will run from 4 – 12pm on Thursday, 12pm – 12am on Friday and 12pm – 11pm on Saturday.
