TASCA UNVEILS AN  LINE-UP OF PORTUGUESE-INSPIRED FESTIVE DINING EXPERIENCES 

Discover the essence of Portuguese hospitality this festive season at Tasca with immersive brunch, set menu and à la carte dining experiences by Chef José Avillez. Starting from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, all the way through to counting down the New Year, Dubai’s premier Michelin-starred Portuguese restaurant will play host to mouthwatering culinary experiences that bring together live entertainment with immaculate gastronomy and unparalleled views.

Christmas Eve Brunch – 24th December 

Celebrate Christmas Eve with scintillating sea views atop the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira. During the day, Tasca will host a festive edition of its sought-after Saturday brunch. Enjoy a leisurely five-course menu that brings together some of José Avillez’s most renowned culinary creations with live music and Christmas elements that encapsulate the spirit of the season.  

Timings: 12:30pm – 4:00pm

Dress code: Smart Casual

Price: AED350 per person with soft beverages; AED450 per person with house beverages, sangria and wine; AED700 per person with house beverages, sangria, wine and champagne.

Christmas Eve Dinner – 24th December 

Experience a Christmas Eve infused with Portugal’s most beloved festive culinary traditions with Tasca’s exclusive Christmas Inspired Tasting Menu. Expect to get whisked away as you make your way through a curated five-course menu served to the rhythms of a live band. Seasonally inspired Christmas specials available à la carte, such as the Algarve Seafood Caldeirada, Mariscada and Deconstructed Beef Wellington, allow diners to customise their dining experience for a one-of-a-kind meal festive meal that is perfect for the night before Christmas.

Christmas Day Brunch – 25th December

Embrace the Christmas spirit with Portuguese flair at Tasca’s exclusive Christmas Day Brunch. Aptly named the Almoco de Natal Brunch, the experience pays homage to authentic Portuguese Christmas Day lunch traditions with a tantalising five-course set menu that reimagines Tasca’s acclaimed culinary repertoire with a festive twist. Savour flavours inspired by seasonally inspired regional produce as you sway to the tunes of the live band in the crisp ocean breeze for a Christmas day like no other.

Christmas Day Dinner – 25th December

Immerse yourself in Tasca’s signature Michelin-starred dining experience on Christmas evening with a festive twist brought about by indulgent specials and breathtaking décor. Throughout the night, guests will have access to Tasca’s complete à la carte culinary repertoire. Decadent, seasonally inspired dishes, created exclusively for the occasion round up the experience, whilst a live band recreates an atmosphere inspired by the festivities of Europe.

New Year’s Eve – 31st December

Make it a New Year’s Eve to remember at Tasca. With unobstructed city views on one side, and shimmering views of the Arabian Sea on the other, New Year’s Eve at Tasca is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that merges Michelin-starred dining with front-seat views of Dubai’s most iconic fireworks. A curated five-course set menu, featuring exclusive dishes made from premium ingredients such as Black Cod, Blue Lobster and Wagyu Beef are served alongside champagne and live music for a night to remember. 

Timings: 8:30pm – 2:00am

Dress code: Elegant

Price: AED2,000 per person with soft beverages; AED3.250 per person with free-flowing house beverages, sangria, wine and one bottle of Louis Roederer champagne to per couple; AED4,450 per person with free-flowing house beverages, wine and Cristal champagne.
