Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche will participate in the Arabian Travel Market 2015 in Dubai on May 4-7. On this occasion, Nael El-Waary, General Manager of the hotel talks about major tourism trends in the capital.
“Our participation at ATM is very important as this is the perfect place to meet our partners and clients to discuss business and showcase our property. We will present our Summer and Ramadan offers as part of Abu Dhabi Summer Season,” he said.
This year, Abu Dhabi Summer Season, organized by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, begins on June 11th and will end on September 5th. Summer season will coincide with the Holy month of Ramadan. El-Waary added that during ATM the hotel is going to sign a number of agreements with travel agents.
Talking about hotel’s performance, Nael E-Waary mentioned that the first quarter of 2015 was marked with good occupancy room rate as the hotel hosted more corporate & leisure guests from abroad.
He noted that despite growing competition, the hotel recorded growth of about 10 per cent in occupancy room rate in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period in 2014. He mentioned that the hotel will maintain completive offering and will continue to deliver high level of customer service and guests satisfaction.

He noted that Abu Dhabi has become a key destination for foreign tourists who are attracted to its culture, nature and various entertainment facilities on Yas Island besides the Sheikh Zayed Mosque which is sought by all foreign tourists.
“There is no doubt that the museums on Saadiyat Island will position Abu Dhabi as a key cultural centre in the region and will attract more visitors to the capital,”
El-Wary added that the Hotel since the opening in year 2012 have won over 17 local and international awards.
