Sajaya Young Ladies and Sharjah Youth launch "Himma" Loyalty Card for members
Smart membership Card offers girls and youth opportunity to obtain privileges and win material prizes
Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, formerly known as Sharjah Girls Centres, in collaboration with Sharjah Youth, yesterday (Monday) launched the Loyalty membership Card (Himma) that allows the members of both entities to have the opportunity to participate in events, training workshops and trips organised by both institutions, as well as to get access to a wide range of gifts and privileges, discounts and material prizes.
The Loyalty Card "Himma" was launched during a press conference held at Al Majaz Waterfront in the presence of a number of directors, officials and work teams from Sajaya Young Ladies and Sharjah Youth, as well as a number of young girls and youth and media representatives.
The launch of the joint membership card, the first of its kind in the emirate of Sharjah, comes in line with the directives of HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, to provide all the necessary potential and facilities to young Emiratis and unleash their potential towards creativity and excellence
Speaking on the occasion, H.E Aisha Khalid Al Qasimi, Director of Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, said: "We are pleased with this collaboration with Sharjah Youth in launching a highly valued service for the members of both institutions. The 'Himma" card offers young ladies and youth the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of events and activities, training workshops, courses and trips that we organise throughout the year, as well as to take advantage of reward gifts and discounts available at over 180 outlets in Sharjah and the UAE."
She added that the loyalty card comes in the form of a smart membership card in three categories, including regular 'Himma", silver and gold cards. The membership card offers its holders multiple benefits when they redeem the points for gifts and material prizes that worth up to AED 6,000. H.E Abdulla Hussain AlAli – Deputy Director,Sharjah Youth, said: "Through this innovative membership card, we give our young people and girls, who represent the nation's real wealth and its human capital, the chance opportunity to take advantage of an exclusive selection of benefits and services that enable them to attend our local and international events that contribute to developing their personalities and unleashing their creativity, so as to well prepare them to become leaders in different walks of life."
Holders of the loyalty membership card in the first category can collect points up to 1999, and up to 3999 points in the second category, and up to 6999 points in the third category. The points are calculated on the basis of the members' attendance at events and activities organized by Sajaya Young Ladies and Sharjah Youth. On the fringe of the press conference, an elite group of young ladies and men presented a number of live and interactive workshops.
End Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah is a leading organisation dedicated to nurturing talented young girls in the age group of 12 to 18 years, in various fields of creativity. It was originally founded in 2004 under the umbrella of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs as a subsidiary department of the Sharjah Children Centres. In 2012, the organisation was declared an independent body by virtue of an administrative decision issued by HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
Sajaya aims to develop greater attention and incentives towards cultivating inventiveness while supporting young girls who are ambitious and committed to pursuing a bright future for themselves and the Emirate of Sharjah.
