Saara Aalto Gives a Soulful Performance at the Halloween X Factor Special on Dubai One

Dubai One featured a Halloween-themed X Factor show on Saturday, which saw Finnish contestant Saara Aalto thrill the public with her quirky twist on Lady Gaga's hit Bad Romance. Her vocals proved a success with the judges once more, as she wowed the audience with her stunning performance in Halloween make-up in this week’s gothic-themed episode.

The show also saw pop quartet Four of Diamonds, an other X Factor favourite, return with their rendition of Ella Henderson’s Ghost, which was a great hit with the audience as they clapped along with the chorus. Young sensation Ryan Lawrie appeared as a ghostly apparition on a pirate ship, as he crooned Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) by the Backstreet Boys. Sam Lavery also stepped out of a spectacular and haunted forest set under the light of the moon, as she sang Bonnie Tyler’s classic ballad Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Dubai One - the English language channel of Dubai Channels Network (DCN) – is broadcasting episodes of ‘X Factor’ in tandem with the UK every Friday and Saturday at 9:00 pm. The programme is a big entertainment hit in the UK and has provided the launch pad for the music careers of many well-recognised popstars.
