RAS AL KHAIMAH TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AT ARABIAN TRAVEL MARKET 2016

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (TDA) will be at this year’s Arabian Travel Market (ATM) to present the emirate’s new brand and Ras Al Khaimah’s key achievements over the last 12 months as it continues to drive significant growth in tourism numbers. The Ras Al Khaimah TDA team will be at ATM from 25 – 28 April 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre on stand ME3510.

 

Highlighting Ras Al Khaimah’s key strengths, the rebrand focuses on the emirate’s natural assets, luxurious indulgence, range of activities for different types of travellers, history and culture, and authentic Arabian heritage offering. For the first time ever, Ras Al Khaimah TDA will be showcasing the brand new visual campaign and new destination video on the stand at ATM.

Underpinning the rebrand is the emirate’s vision for 2018 - to attract one million vistors by the end of 2018. Ras Al Khaimah plans to further diversify its world-class hotel portfolio, expand its routes, restore historical sites and enhance its digital platforms, the new brand strategy lays out the critical roadmap to achieve these aims and is supported by the new visuals and destination video.

 

Visitors to the stand will also be able to try their hand at golf as Ras Al Khaimah TDA presents a golf simulator, the first of its kind in the UAE throughout the event. The simulator will allow the stand’s visitors to enter competitions and practice their golf swing using the latest technology which accurately measures ball speed, launch angle and direction as well as In2 technology which features a high speed camera measuring ball spin and club head data.

 

The Ras Al Khaimah TDA delegation will be signing new agreements with industry partners including global tour operators and travel agencies on the stand. Also present on the stand will be the emirate’s key industry partners from government departments to hotels and destination companies.

 

Joining Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority on the stand will be several co-participants including government entities, hotels and attractions. These include Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree Hotels & Resorts, Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, Banyan Tree Hotels, Economic Department, RAK Free Trade Zone, Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts, The Cove Rotana, Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Departnent of Antiquities and Museums, Desert Gate Tourism LLC, Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa managed by Accor.
