Ramada Ajman announces staff promotions

Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman proudly announces promotions in four different departments of the hotel. 

Liyakath Ali has been promoted from Assistant Manager for Housekeeping to Assistant Executive Housekeeper. He will be heading the housekeeping department in ensuring that high standard of cleanliness is observed in all areas of the property. Ali has been with Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman for four years, where he started as Housekeeping Supervisor. 

Muhammad Mashood Aaqib now takes the role of Purchasing Manager. He will be in-charge of supervising the department and liaising with all suppliers to ensure smooth transaction and delivery of the hotel’s various departments. Aaqib started in Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman as Purchasing Assistant and was promoted to Asst. Purchasing Manager in 2013.  

From his role as Engineering Team Leader, Zahid Hassan, has been promoted to Assistant Engineer. He will assist the Chief Engineers in the maintenance and repair of power supplies and electrical equipments of the hotels. As an environment-friendly hotel, he is also tasked to suggest cost-effective solutions and help keep track of the property’s power and water consumption. Hassan joined the team in 2011 as A/C Technician and worked his way up to his current role. 

Chandana Nissanka Jayalath is named as the new Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman. Prior to this role, he was the Banquet Manager at Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman. He will be responsible for the hotel’s two restaurants, plus room service and will support the Cluster F&B manager in delivering high quality of food and service standards, and in boosting revenue from the outlets. He has been with the property for five years, where he started as Food & Beverage Supervisor.
