Qatar Airways intends to expand its operations and network within the Saudi market, enhancing the travel experience to and from the Kingdom as part of its regional strategy to strengthen air connectivity.
The airline views competition in the Saudi market positively and continues to improve its services, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.
Major cities such as Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam remain among the highest-demand destinations, the carrier said.
Qatar Airways added Abha to its network this year, marking its 11th destination in Saudi Arabia.
Currently, the airline operates more than 130 weekly flights to various Saudi cities, offering over 30,000 seats weekly during the summer season, enabling travelers to access more than 170 destinations worldwide via Doha.
