14001, 18001, 22301, 28000 and 50001 among accreditations received by dealership


Premier Motors, the official dealer in Abu Dhabi for Ford, Lincoln, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Ferrari, Spyker, DAF Trucks and Ford Trucks, has obtained five ISO certifications that cover all its facilities from SGS Gulf - the region’s leading provider of inspection, verification, testing and certification services.

The standards included in the Integrated Management Systems include 14001 for Environmental, 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety, 22301 for Business Continuity, 28000 Supply Chain Security and 50001 for Energy Management Systems.

The process was completed in eight months and the accreditations cover all Premier Motors’ facilities, including showrooms, service centres and workshops in Abu Dhabi as well as Al Ain.

“Obtaining these certifications is part of our strategy to get our overall systems, processes and facilities in line with international standards. Our aim is to provide our customers with the best facilities and services, thereby setting a benchmark for the automotive sector in the UAE and the region,” said Helal Hanei Omar, General Manager, Premier Motors.

The certificates were presented to Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer, Al Tayer Motors and Helal Hanei Omar, General Manager, Premier Motors at the Khalidiya showroom by Aamir Shakir, Principal Auditor and P T M Rajan, SSC Business Manager UAE of SGS Gulf Ltd. SGS International is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company.

Premier Motors’ showrooms are located at Khalidiya and Mussafah in Abu Dhabi, and Senayya in Al Ain, while service and parts centres are in Mussafah, and Senayya in Al Ain.
