Over 500 Dulsco employees join the walkathon to celebrate UAE National Sports Day

Dulsco, a regional leader in human resource solutions and waste management services, had organized a walkathon where more than 500 employees took part. The walkathon and a cricket tournament were launched as a part of the UAE National Sports Day. The announcement of the nationwide sports day – ‘UAE National Sports Day’ has been an example of sorts to promote the health of the people in UAE including children, men and women who would be unified under one roof and would compete in a friendly spirit.  Dubai Sports Council has listed Dulsco Walkathon and Cricket tournament in their calendar. 

The walkathon which is listed in the events calendar of the Dubai Sports council is an icon of good health catered to promote healthy living, sporting competition which will help create a sense of unity and foster the spirit of the UAE. People from all across the society which includes schools and various corporate and private sports clubs were encouraged to take part in the event, which started today. The ushering of this initiative is as a result of the directive of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.

Dulsco Walkathon 2015 is yet another initiative to bring out a healthy workout regime in the UAE. The event which culminated at the Dulsco Events Arena – Dulsco Village saw sheer stamina and passion by all the individuals of all age groups alike. The starting point was the Dulsco Head Office, Al Quoz. The walkathon is yet another harbinger of Dulsco’s commitment to encourage sports which promulgate teamwork, passion and dedication.
