Prestigious event to promote innovation among young IT talent

OutSystems, the enterprise Rapid Application Delivery (RAD) platform provider, is the silver sponsor of the Mobile Application Contest 2015 (MAC) to be held on Sunday 19th of April 2015 in Abu Dhabi. The contest is organized by the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Khalifa University.

MAC’15 provides an excellent opportunity for students majoring in Computer Engineering/Science, Software Engineering, and related fields to demonstrate their skills in developing mobile applications and to meet students from other Emirates and Gulf institutions. Training sessions in developing mobile applications using iOS, Windows Phone and Android will also be offered free of charge for at least one student from each registered team.

Dr. Jamal Zemerly (MAC’15 Steering Committee Chair) said, “OutSystems is providing an excellent opportunity for computer engineering students to learn how a Rapid Application Delivery platform makes it easy to develop, deliver and manage mobile and web apps.”

The award ceremony of MAC’15 will be held on Sunday 19th April 2015 in Abu Dhabi to showcase the shortlisted projects and to announce the winning projects. The winners will be nominated to participate in international mobile contests.
