Riyadh will welcome thousands of local, regional, and international professionals later this week when two major industry platforms – ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia and Stationery & Paper, Gifts & Homeware, and Kids & Toys – open their doors at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre (RFECC) on 16 September.
To be officially opened on Tuesday by the event's Strategic Partner, Riyadh Chamber, the debut shows will together represent a powerful convergence of global manufactures, sourcing, and trade industries as both Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 giga-projects and rapid market diversification create unprecedented demand for innovation across workplaces, retail, education, and lifestyle sectors.
Growth Platforms
The inaugural ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia, organised by dmg events in partnership with Koelnmesse, will feature more than 100 exhibitors from 14 countries and welcome 10,000-plus professional visitors. Exhibitors will display cutting-edge workplace design, hybrid working solutions, and sustainable innovations across commercial offices, education, hospitality, healthcare, and transport hubs.
“ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia is a meeting point for creativity, design, and innovation that will shape the workplaces of tomorrow,” said Elaine O’Connell, Senior Vice President at dmg events. “By uniting international expertise with Saudi ambition, we are creating a space where global and regional leaders can exchange ideas, set new benchmarks, and deliver solutions aligned with the Kingdom’s dynamic transformation across the commercial real estate, tourism, retail, and lifestyle sectors.”
Running alongside ORGATEC WORKSPACE is the Stationery & Paper, Gifts & Homeware, and Kids & Toys expos. This combination of events represents the Kingdom’s first co-located sourcing hub and will feature more than 150 exhibitors from 23 countries across its trio of expos. Together, the shows are expected to attract 4,500 buyers, from distributors and retailers to government entities and mega-project developers.
“This represents something of a marketplace revolution,” added Jasmeet Bakshi, Vice President, Design and Hospitality at dmg events. “For the first time, three dedicated sourcing exhibitions will run side-by-side, creating a single, dedicated hub uniting all three industries—where local and global companies meet, sign deals, and grow.”
Global & Saudi Appeal
Local and international exhibitors are already hailing the combined shows as pivotal. Omair Alomair, president of OMAIR TUBE FACTORY LLC, a leading Saudi design brand, said: “ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia is a great opportunity for us to showcase our locally manufactured, high-quality products, engage with industry leaders, and demonstrate how we are contributing to the Kingdom’s vision for sustainable, innovative, and world-class workplace and educational solutions.”
Meanwhile, Abo Moati, global leaders in writing instruments, emphasised the significance of the stationery sector. Mohammed Abdullah Abu Moati, CEO of Abu Moati, asserted: “Saudi Arabia is one of our most important markets and the Stationery & Paper Expo is the ideal place to meet demand for premium, sustainable writing solutions as schools, offices, and businesses expand.”
In the lifestyle sector, Mohamed Alayat, CEO of Gifts & Homeware exhibitor Alpha Art, said: “The Kingdom’s booming retail and gifting industry is fuelled by rising disposable incomes and Vision 2030’s lifestyle ambitions. This show provides us with the opportunity to connect directly with corporate buyers and retailers at the heart of that growth – particularly in an era defined by artificial intelligence and global competition, where there is no space for companies that do not embrace innovation and continuous development”
Knowledge-Sharing & Innovation
Both platforms are enriched with high-impact conferences. The ORGATEC WORKSPACE Summit will host more than 50 international and regional speakers discussing hybrid workplaces, AI integration, sustainability, and designing Saudi workplaces that blend cultural identity with global standards.
Meanwhile, Stationery & Paper, Gifts & Homeware, and Kids & Toys will feature The Creative Circle, a two-day forum with 25 speakers and a three-day workshop by Artsy, powered by Pan Gulf Marketing’s Funbo and Fantastick, providing market insights and trend analysis in retail, homeware, and gifting.
By bringing together workplace design and lifestyle sourcing under one roof, dmg events is streamlining the visitor experience. The theme — ‘Three Co-Located Shows, One Optimised Visit’ – underscores attendance efficiency.
“Saudi Arabia’s markets are moving at record pace,” Bakshi concluded. “These exhibitions empower professionals to keep up, source smarter, and access world-class innovation in one place and in one visit.”
