Natuzzi, one the world's most internationally acclaimed luxury furniture, sponsored fundraising event for UNICEF which received a total bid of 300,000 Dhs which all proceeds goes to the organization’s  ‘No Lost Generation’ Initiative to provide learning opportunities to children caught up in the conflict within the region.

In collaboration with ITP Group along with the second year anniversary celebration of Architectural Digest Middle East, the event was held at The Address Boulevard and featured a Royal Exhibition and silent auction.

Nine dallahs decorated by artistically–inclined members from the GCC’s ruling Royal families were sold at the auction. The royal artists who lent their creative touch to the one-metre tall dallahs are: HH Sheikha Alyazia bint Nahyan, HRH Princess Basma bin Majid bin Abdul-Aziz AlSaud, HH Sheikha Fatima Mohammed Al Qasimi, HRH {rincess Hayfa bint Abdullah, HRH Sheikha Mariam bint Khalifa bin Sait Al Nahyan, HE Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khailfa , HH Sheikha sayyida Basma Al Said, and HH Sheikha Wata Hasher Al Maktoum.

The high level function was graced by Egyptian actress and UNICEF Ambassador Mona Zaki, who was appointed to her role earlier this year, on the occasion of the organisation’s 70th anniversary. Through her role, she supports UNICEF’s work for children in Egypt and beyond, with a special focus on Ending Violence Against Children, promoting the importance of Early Childhood Development and the first 1,000 days of a child’s life.

Speaking on the success of the event, Mr. Mikdad Bhabhrawala, CEO of Western Furniture, said “We are privileged to be a part of UNICEF’s Program that aims to uplift the lives of our children not only in this region, but on the other parts of the world. We, at Natuzzi, join UNICEF in providing our children adequate education to bestow them a better future.”
