Morocco's King and Mohamed bin Zayed inaugurate Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital of Casablanca

His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday inaugurated the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Casablanca. The hospital was implemented by the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation.

Attending the opening ceremony were Prince Moulay Rachid, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber Minister of State and CEO of Masdar, and a number senior UAE officials.

King Mohammed and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi were welcomed upon arrival at the hospital by Moroccan Health Minister El Houssaine Louardi, Mohammed Haji Khoury, Director of Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation, and top managers of the hospital and senior Moroccan officials.

Following the unveiling of the memorial plaque, King Mohammed and Sheikh Mohamed viewed the hospital's model and heard a brief presentation on phases of construction of the project.

On the value and vision of the hospital, officials said the health facility seeks to become a premier provider of world-class, high quality health care services in the Kingdom of Morocco and North Africa.
