Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) – a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Initiatives – has offered career opportunities in the field of knowledge for qualified young Emirati talents as it announced its participation in Careers UAE 2016 being held from May 16 to 18, 2016, at Dubai World Trade Centre. This is the second consecutive year that MBRF is participating in the leading career fair organized by Dubai World Trade Centre in collaboration with the National Human Resources Development & Employment Authority, and the Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE University.
MBRF is aiming to contribute to the growth of the country’s labour market and achieve its Emiratisation strategy with its participation in Careers UAE 2016 under the Dubai government platform.
His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, Managing Director of MBRF, said the Foundation is keen to participate in local career fairs to increase the number of national cadres working in various sectors. He explained that the rate of Emiratisation in the Foundation reached 62.2% during the year 2016 in all categories and positions. Women account for 43% of the workforce in the Foundation, while men account for 57%, HE Bin Huwaireb said.
HE Bin Huwaireb said the MBRF is taking part in Careers UAE as part of its efforts to achieve the UAE Vision 2021 by supporting initiatives that build the capacity of UAE talents and provide employment and training programmes for them in various fields of knowledge. MBRF is also looking to integrate them into the projects and initiatives of the Foundation to help build a knowledge based society, HE Bin Huwaireb added.
He said that MBRF’s participation in Careers UAE 2016 will help attract more Emirati talents to the Foundation, especially since it is launching expansion programmes year after year in various fields.
The MBRF stand is located within the Dubai government pavilion No.30 in Zabeel Hall, and MBRF HR team will be available in the stand daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm to meet Emirati graduates, and provide them with information relating to job opportunities and mechanism of employment within the Foundation.
MBRF offers a range of openings in the areas of technical and supervisory and executive jobs. On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Foundation will also distribute 450 books on various titles and topics in the Dubai Government pavilion to encourage reading habits and contribute to the provision of knowledge in a variety of fields.
