Mall of the Emirates granted holiday wishes this festive season

Mall of the Emirates, Majid Al Futtaim’s flagship lifestyle and luxury shopping destination has created a magical festive atmosphere perfect for the whole family. Visiting shoppers and loyal customers had the chance to have their wishes come true by posting them via a specially designed app, enjoy animated shows as well as enchanting window displays throughout the mall.

“Mall of the Emirates, set to spread festive cheer, created more sensational experiences for our loyal shoppers this year. With a variety of activities and events suited for all ages, the mall was filled with enchanting displays from large ornaments to festive music,” said Hussain Moosa, Associate Director for Mall of the Emirates, “We are delighted to host families and visitors, customers and patrons during this holiday period and continue to reward guests by making their wishes come true by creating great moments for everyone, everyday.”

Shoppers shared what they would like to receive as a gift at the aptly named ‘Wish a Gift’ booth and entered a draw where ten lucky winners were selected. Gifts worth up to AED 10,000 were given away daily during the festive season including iPhone 6 mobile phones and Xbox video gaming systems. 

Until December 24th three interactive and animated shows were held daily and captivated the spirit of the season for the whole family. 

Located in the Central Galleria, the mall’s festive focal decoration - the giant 12-metre winter tree draped in glistening lights, gold fur and ornaments captivated shoppers as they were welcomed with glittering light curtains at each entrance of the mall, while corridors were adorned with festive banners and with 3D ornaments.

Serving as a perfect atmosphere for the spirit of the season, Ski Dubai enhanced the festivities from December 11th to December 23rd by transforming the slope into a Winter Wonderland accompanied by a Santa’s Grotto, seasonal snow-topped trees, a Christmas Market and personalised photo sessions.
