A new locally-made radar, with a high degree of accuracy, will enter into service on Sunday, August 21, 2016, in the Emirate of Sharjah, a senior police official has said.
The new radar has been designed by the General Headquarters of the Sharjah Police in collaboration with the Departments of Traffic and Patrols and Electronic Services and Telecommunications.
Colonel Abdallah Mubarak bin Amir, Deputy General Commander of Sharjah Police, was briefed on the new radar that would monitor, with a high degree of accuracy and clarity, those who overtake on the hard shoulder as well as those who fail to observe lanes.
