ISAS students show skills on canvas through art exhibition

International School of Arts and Sciences (ISAS) recently held its 6th art exhibition at the Wafi Mall in Dubai. The exhibition displayed more than 30 paintings and art craft from students of different grades. The students showcased their flare for painting and ingenuity by using multiple techniques such as (gouache, oil painting, pencil, collage, recycling).

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was graced by Ms. Alia Lootah – a researcher in the Curatorial Department at The Louvre Abu Dhabi. She is an AMSI alumni, Class of 2006 and a graduate from the College of Fine Arts & Design at the University of Sharjah. Apart from reviewing the work of students, Ms. Alia Lootah also gave students useful tips in honing their creativity with the paint brush and other inventive methods of utilizing the canvas.

The art exhibition is a part if ISAS’ efforts to inculcate a sense of creativity and design a holistic approach to developing a child’s personality along with its academic programme.
