Industry Ministry allocates 6 sites for mining activities

Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has allocated six sites to establish mining clusters in various regions across Riyadh, Aseer, and Eastern Province.

 

The move aims to develop the Kingdom’s mining investment environment and enhance its transparency and appeal to investors, according to a ministerial statement.

 

The ministry said the designated sites include four clusters in Aseer, as follows:

 

1- A mining complex on the Khamis Mushait–Bisha Road in Bisha Governorate, covering an area of 36.33 kilo square meters (sqm).

 

2- A mining complex west of Subaykhah in Tareeb Governorate, with an area of 14.56 kilo sqm.

 

3- A mining complex in Khamis Mushait (No. 1) in Khamis Mushait Governorate, spanning an area of 12.25 kilo sqm.

 

4- A mining complex in Khamis Mushait (No. 2) in Khamis Mushait Governorate, covering 13.08 kilo sqm.

 

Meanwhile, the Riyadh-based site has been allocated for a mining complex northeast of Bani Tamim Governorate, stretching over an area of 8.68 kilo sqm. In Eastern Province, a site has been designated for a mining complex east of Gunan in Buqayq Governorate, on an area of 15.57 kilo sqm.
