Hili Mall makes UAE flag fly high on Al Ain’s Hili District

           Mall and Hili Rayhaan by Rotana hotel join hands in celebrating UAE Flag Day

Hili Mall, the biggest community shopping centre in Al Ain city, hoisted the UAE Flag at noon to celebrate the UAE Flag. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Khalid Shraim, General Manager of Hili Mall, and Mr. Amr Adel, General Manager of Hili Rayhaan by Rotana, among other participants.

The ceremony coincided with the colorful celebrations all across the mall, and the surrounding Hili District. It also witnessed community engagement from across Al Ain city.

“UAE Flag Day is not only about celebrations, it is a symbol of the unique Emirati identity and the unity of the nation,” said Khalid Shraim during the ceremony. “Since inception, Hili Mall has always been active participant in national celebrations, and we will continue to conduct these patriotic events that are much appreciated by the multi-cultural community of Al Ain city.”

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has directed the federal departments and ministries to hoist the flag simultaneously on Tuesday at 12pm, as a symbol of unification of the UAE’s flag across the land and buildings.

“It is with pride and respect that we raise the UAE Flag on one of the most patriotic days on the UAE calendar. These national occasions mean a lot not only to the Emirati citizens, but also to all other nationalities who appreciate the security, peace and harmony the country offers to all residents,” added Shraim.

“Hili Mall is a community destination and should therefore partake in people pride and joy. We were thrilled with the level of community engagement they showed today,” concluded Shraim.
