HFZA shares new incentives in Australia’s largest manufacturing exhibition

Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) joined 250 international exhibitors at the four-day National Manufacturing Week (NMW) 2015 that concluded at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre recently.
The event, seen as Australia’s largest showcase of manufacturing innovation, information and inspiration displayed a number of new products and ideas from a broad range of industry experts. In addition, the event also organized live demonstrations of new technologies, including automated product inspection, steel finishing, metal marking, world-record-speed riveting, lifting, welding and more.
"We proudly participated in the National Manufacturing Week exhibition where we shared our incentives, facilities and packages which will hopefully inspire traders, manufacturers and service providers to branch out to HFZA," said Saud Al Mazourei, director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport Free Zone (SAIF Zone)
“Our team got an opportunity to share different ideas and experiences with international investors, businessmen and manufacturers who have been looking for new opportunities in the region. The event was a good opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, whilst sourcing new investors,” he added.
HFZA showcased its services and facilities for various businesses including shipping, oil and gas, petrochemical, construction, steel manufacturing as well as the logistic village and SME offices.
“We’ve done our best to make the Hamriyah Free Zone a great place for international companies to conduct business in. We offer the best infrastructure facilities and high quality services to welcome foreign investment in various sectors like manufacturing, trade and services,” Al Mazrouei added.
While asked about the prime sectors in the free zone, he said, “The biggest sectors in HFZA are oil and gas and maritime. Furthermore, Hamriyah Free Zone is the largest steel zone in the UAE. We are also the second largest oil storage zone in the UAE, and we are expanding and looking at new customers to set up their businesses in this sector.We are continuously looking at growing our number of clients in Hamriyah in different sectors and segmentations..
National Manufcaturing Week is the only fully integrated annual manufacturing exhibition showcasing the latest products and constantly evolving technologies in the expanding manufacturing market.
This event, co-located with Austech, the Safety First Conference and Expo and Smart Supply Chain and Logistics Conference, attracted over 10,000 visitors.
