FrieslandCampina to showcase its world-class expertise at Gulfood


FrieslandCampina Middle East, part of Royal FrieslandCampina – the largest dairy co-operative in the world and famous for its brand ‘Rainbow Milk’, is showcasing its world-class expertise and products at Gulfood 2015 – the world’s largest annual food and hospitality show to be held later this month in Dubai.

The five day exhibition, to be held between February 8 and 12, 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), will bring together over 4000 exhibitors, including 120 country pavilions, and is set to reinforce Dubai’s position as the regional hub for hospitality, trade and tourism.

During the exhibition, FrieslandCampina will provide an overview of its entire product range suited to match the lifestyle needs of the region’s customers, including the Dutch natural FRICO Cheese, it provides the pure goodness and authentic taste of natural riping and is crafted by experience cheese makers. And the popular RAINOW milk range which includes Evaporated milk, Long Life milk, Sweetened Condensed milk, Milk powder, and “FRESHY” the newly launched refreshing dairy drink that won Middle East’s Beverage Award in Dairy Drink category at the Arab - Asian Alliance Awards (AABA), among others.

The company also aims to further leverage its global reputation and identify potential customers; open new business opportunities expand the existing network of trade partners during Gulfood. Among other activities, FrieslandCampina has scheduled a number of meetings with distributors, private label companies, and food service establishments to build its market share in the region.

In his comments, Maurits Klavert- Managing Director at FrieslandCampina Middle East, said: “Gulfood is an important part of our event calendar and a great opportunity to showcase our world-class products to the regional players. As a company, we are continuing our healthy growth and very optimistic about 2015. But that growth would need from us finding the right partners and opportunities to support our ambitious plan”.

He added: “Overall we are seeing a general growth trend in all areas of our business – from Rainbow Milk to our premium FRICO cheese varieties, and we are confident that our participation at Gulfood will provide us the growth catalyst to further diversify our product portfolio.”
