Empower is Gold Sponsor of ‘Open Day’ by Rashid Center for Disabled on 25th May

In line with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, sponsored the ‘Open Day’ organised by Rashid Center for Disabled yesterday and received an award for its sponsorship. 

HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, Chief Executive Officer of Empower said that the company is a Gold Sponsor for the event and attributed the sponsorship to the company’s commitment in giving back to the community of Dubai, who contributed to its global leadership position.  

“This is a noble humanitarian commitment that we are inspired by the UAE leadership; HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,” Bin Shafar said.

“We extend our deep thanks to Rashid Center for Disabled for giving us the opportunity to sponsor this humanitarian event. We look at this initiative as a responsibility to promote integration of these children in society,” Bin Shafar added.

‘Open Day’, which is organised every year by Rashid Center for Disabled with the participation of a group of humanitarian and charitable centers in the UAE, aims at giving the disabled a true sensation that they are a crucial part in our community, and that the community as a whole is in solidarity with them and seeks to merge them in society with love and care.

Empower received Dubai Chamber CSR Label more than once. The company continuously contributes in humanitarian initiatives that generate positive and significant influence as part of its commitment in CSR initiatives.  

“We will support those children onsite at the American University of Dubai, and we urge other organisations to contribute in this noble cause,” concluded Bin Shafar.
