Empower hoists UAE Flag on all District Cooling plants for Flag Day celebrations

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) joined the nation in celebrating UAE Flag Day (Tuesday, 3 November) by hoisting the UAE Flag on all its District Cooling Plants across Dubai.

HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, said the company was delighted to follow the directive of HHSheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai on simultaneous flag hoisting at 12 noon.

“We are responding to the call of HH Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,to launch a nationwide campaign to celebrate the UAE Flag Day on November3,” said Bin Shafar. “The day celebrates the anniversary of President HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan assuming office asthe president of the country.” 

Empower has planned Flag Day activities in many of its facilities, includingplants in Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai Design District, amongst others.

HE Bin Shafar, along with other senior officials at Empower, attendedflag hoisting aimed at encouraging the UAEcommunity to celebrate the high standing of the country by respecting its flag.
