duFC’s Dubai Top Talents Selected by LaLiga Scouts

In the final leg of this season’s duFC, in the partnership with LaLiga creating the regions only international, Championship Director Michel Salgado and LaLiga scouts conducted trials this week to select the top players from Dubai’s pool of talents ahead of the highly anticipated national trial session which will be held on 25 March 2017 in Dubai.

Players selected in the national trial session will have the opportunity to pursue their football aspirations, through being invited to join the du LaLiga High Performance Center (HPC) in the UAE, where they will undergo an intensive training program to the standards that have made LaLiga the strongest league in the world until they reach the age of 18 and can join international clubs and teams.

Speaking about Dubai’s top talent selection, duFC Championship Director and Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado said, “The top rated young players we selected for Dubai demonstrated impressive technical skills and should they make it through the final trial will certainly strengthen the existing team at HPC and provide us with a fantastic pool of talent to groom into pro-footballers. We are very excited to have extended the scouting platform to the U14 category this year, as I believe this will provide a greater opportunity for them to be trained for a longer period of time to LaLiga standards at the du LaLiga HPC.”

Selected talents will be invited to a final intensive training clinic in Dubai the end of March before the unveiling of final talents in the U16 & U14 categories who will be invited to join the du LaLiga High Performance Centre in April.  Talents in the U16 category will travel to Spain in August for a 3-week training clinic and competitive matches with the LaLiga’s strongest youth clubs.
