Dubai Investments PJSC [DFM: DIC], the leading, diversified investment conglomerate listed on the Dubai Financial Market, along with Dubai Municipality, participated in the annual Car-Free Day campaign today to raise environmental awareness, encourage use of public transport and reduce traffic & pollution.
Nearly 200 employees of Dubai Investments and its subsidiaries took the public transport and travelled by shuttle buses from the last station of Dubai Metro network to the offices in Dubai Investments Park [DIP].
Abdulaziz Bin Yagub Al Serkal, General Manager of Dubai Investments, said: “Dubai Investments supports Dubai Municipality’s initiative and actively participated in the Car-Free Day campaign to make it successful. This is part of Dubai Investments’ commitment to reduce the carbon footprint and promote environmental protection for the present and future generations, not just for a day but every day of the year.”
