Mr. Ramdan opened the seminar session which was attended by young students sponsored by the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation as well as young Emiratis working in the hospitality industry.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ahmed Ramdan, Founder of Ròya International said: "It is an honor and a pleasure to welcome such talented young students and introduce them to the field of hospitality. We thank both Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation as well as Glion and Les Roches for making this Forum a success. Recently, HE Al Mansouri, the Minister of Economy has given figures on the industry that show Hospitality in the UAE as more than 8 percent of our total GDP in 2015 and expected to rise at about 5 percent per year. Our country is fast becoming a mid-world capital for business, leisure and events - and we want our young people to have a part to play in this bright future."
Two of the participating students won fully paid scholarships in Switzerland offered by Les Roches and Ròya International.
