Dubai Customs commemorates five of its employees whose ideas were approved for implementation by MBR Smart Majlis

During its first week, the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis has approved for implementation 5 ideas presented by Dubai Customs’ employees. 

H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, commemorated these employees and hailed their high and fast responsiveness to the initiative, launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. “Dubai Customs is leading the way in making valuable contributions to the success of the majlis. We call upon all employees and the general public to come forward with their ideas and be part of Dubai’s overall development drive,” Ahmed Mahboob Musabih said.

His Excellency Ahmed Mahboob Musabih stated, “The initiatives of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; stand as a beacon of light in encouraging innovation and creativity. The launch of the MBR Smart Majlis comes at the epitome of His Highness’s initiatives for encouraging the submission of new ideas. We took the initiative of honouring our own employees who have promptly interacted with  the initiative upon the first week of its launch.” 

He also added, “The evaluation and adoption of the ideas received from the MBR Smart Majlis come as a priority for us in order to employ these ideas within customs work cycle. Thus, we aim to support Dubai’s competitiveness in foreign trade and investments, while upholding its position at the frontline as a regional and international hub for global trade.”

Dubai Customs’ employees whose ideas were approved by the MBR Smart Majlis are: Ahmed Al Ali, Eman Al Suwaidi, Mohammed Al Mazrzooqi, Kamlah Al Muhairi, and Ahmed Abu Zeid.

It is worthwhile noting that Dubai Customs had set an integrated action plan developed by the Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department aimed at keeping up with the pace of the MBR Smart Majlis initiative.
