Dubai based finance comparison startup compareit4me.com named Forbes Middle East’s 5th Most Promising Start Up

With the UAE’s National Innovation Week just one month away, the financial sector is continuing to make solid headway in helping to push the region to become one of the next generation of Smart Cities.

The banks are taking the digital revolution seriously and with the continued undeniable contribution of compareit4me, who operate finance comparison websites across the Middle East, banking is becoming easier than ever.

The compareit4me group experiences year on year growth of 300 per cent, proving the impact it’s having on the industry. As recognition of this continued support offered to the banks in the Middle East, compareit4me was ranked 5th in the Most Promising UAE Based Startup category, during the launch of the Forbes Middle East “Business Leaders Inspiring the UAE” awards. 

The event marked the launch of two ranking systems from the international business publication, which focus specifically on Emiratis and Dubai-based startups who are pushing the boundaries of the business world and growing internationally. 

The exclusive guest list included some of the most influential UAE based entrepreneurs who are seen to be pioneering their own ventures, and further cementing the nation’s global position as an incubator of innovation and inspirational ideas. During the ceremony, held at The Waldorf Astoria on Dubai’s Palm Jumeriah on October 19th, the top 25 in both the Up and Coming Entrepreneurs and Most Promising Startups categories was unveiled.

Criteria for making it onto the list of The Most Promising UAE Based Startups which chose the UAE as the perfect place to launch their businesses, was based on revenue from 2014, investor perception, their executive team, market reach, website ranking and number of employees.

The Forbes award caps a great year for compareit4me, which has been nominated for a number of awards including; Best Finance Comparison site – Middle East 2015 at the Global Banking & Finance Awards and Expat Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 at the Entrepreneur Wales Awards. 

In 2014, the company was awarded the Best Finance Comparison site accolade at the IFM Awards, as well as receiving nominations for Digital Business of the year at the Arabian Business Start Up Awards and Best Technology and Online Business of the Year at the SME Stars of Business Awards.
