UAE – 23 December 2015 – du Football Champions, featuring the nation’s official UAE Schools and Streets Cup and the regions only youth football scouting platform at an international level, announced today that a special All-Champions Clinic featuring LaLiga coaches and led by Championship Director and LaLiga Global Ambassador Michel Salgado will take place on March 17th and 18th 2016 for the UAE’s 60 top seeded Cup players and winning teams.
Following the completion of the Abu Dhabi emirate leg of du Football Champions, the top 20 seeded talents were selected by Salgado and his team of scouts. These promising players will meet at the All-Champions Clinic along with their counterparts from Northern Emirates and Dubai, who will be selected by March 2016.

The du All-Champions Clinic will be a milestone in these 60 young talents’ journey towards stardom who join the winning teams. Together they will take part in a round of intense, professional-level training, mentoring and matches following which top talents will be selected to travel and train with LaLiga in Spain together with this year’s winning teams.
Championship Director, Michel Salgado commented on the final selection from Abu Dhabi saying, “We saw some fantastic play in Abu Dhabi and the decision to pick only 20 was a very difficult one. We were looking for and found young players who have what it takes to become international players: physical and emotional strength, mental focus, agility, and a sheer drive to succeed. The selected players from Abu Dhabi emirate displayed these qualities and skills consistently week on week.”

We created the du All-Champions Clinic to give the top seeded talent from across the country an equal chance to excel and be selected to travel to Spain. The duFC scouting platform, the first of its kind in the UAE, will create an ongoing pipeline of pro-football players for both national and international clubs and teams.
