Discussions Held to Enhance Security Cooperation between UAE and China

In a meeting held at the Ministry’s headquarters, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, met with Chun Dong, Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department and China’s INTERPOL Deputy Director, along with his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, both parties discussed a number of topics of mutual concern alongside the ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordination between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China in various security fields. The parties additionally discussed the ways to exchange expertise in training fields.  

The meeting was attended by Colonel Dr. Jamal Saif Fares from H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Diwan; Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Mazroui, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Interior; Lt. Colonel Saleh Al Amoudi, External Training Branch Manager at the Abu Dhabi Police; and Lin Yahu, Consul General of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the UAE.
