After the busy festive period of enjoying plentiful food and wine, it is no surprise that New Years resolution lists are full of ideas to lose weight, join the gym or take up a sport. Therefore, the Charles Hotel in Munich is introducing Detox Weeks from January until Easter 2015, ensuring guests can continue their health kick whilst enjoying their stay.

The Italian Restaurant Davvero will offer an additional special 4-course Detox-Menu including delicious dishes. Chef Giovanni Russo and his team have developed special dishes using ingredients with antioxidant and detoxifying effects, such as spelt and chestnut flour, as well as soy products instead of wheat and dairy products. A wide variety of berries and fruit will be on offer. Guests can also order a selection of freshly prepared Detox-juices for breakfast at the Restaurant Davvero or at The Bar.

Lovers of the English Tea Time can choose between the classic variety and the low-calorie Tea-Tox, with spelt sandwiches and a flour-free chocolate cake.
At The Charles Spa guests can experience face and body Detox-Relax treatments with Sisley Paris products.

Those who are planning an event at The Charles Hotel between January and May 2015 can also book a light Detox Coffee Break with spelt sandwiches, fruit skewers and Detox-juices.
As well as this, guests will find a fruit plate in their rooms, along with personal tips for yoga exercises and detoxifying household remedies from the Spa Managers Yasmin Bhatti.

Clarifying Detox Facial with peeling, deep cleansing, eyebrow shaping, mask, lymphatic drainage, cleavage, neck and hand massage, final face, eye and hand treatment. Duration 75 minutes. Price 160 Euro.
