Conclusion the CSR Al Noor Football tournament 2015‎

In line with the spirit of Ramadan, which is a season of giving, companies came forward to contribute their time and efforts to generate greater awareness about ANISA (Al Noor Indoor Sports Auditorium) through a four day long football tournament, officially managed by Ahdaaf Sports Club.

The tournament kicked off on 27th June 2015 with 8 teams from various companies battling four intensive nights before moving into the final playoffs on 30th June 2015
Al Tayer Group won the 1st prize, followed by Dulsco on 2nd and Abela & Co. on 3rd. Mr. Pidan Karki from Dulsco was awarded as Best Player and Mr. Sami Al Shami from Al Tayer Group as Best Goal Keeper.

Mrs. Isphana Al Khatib, Director of Al Noor Training Centre, expressed her delight saying “We are thoroughly overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm with which the teams participated. Such competitive events bring together various sectors of the community to support the cause of people with Special Needs by sponsoring the event or by signing up as a team. The funds raised go to our annual budget for the welfare of our students. We thank each company and participant for being a part of the event. “

While the winning team took home the coveted Al Noor Ramadan CSR Football Tournament 2015 Trophy, the runner-up teams won free vouchers to book free games at the Al Noor Indoor Sports Auditorium, medals and sponsored prizes. ITP Publishing Group and Brookfield Multiplex Middle East were the Bronze Sponsors of the tournament.

The event was a huge success and the teams were thrilled and excited to have this great opportunity of playing in the professional environment of ANISA (Al Noor Indoor Sports Auditorium). ANISA- The indoor auditorium, an integral part of Al Noor Training Centre in Al Barsha, is one of Dubai’s strategically located all-purpose indoor sports stadium with upgraded amenities.
