The General Department of Children Centres in Sharjah, a Department of the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs, is set to announce new features, initiatives, programs and workshops which are set to take center stage at the 12th edition of the Sharjah Arab Children Forum 2016. The announcement will take place at a press conference on Monday 14th March 2016, at Al Noor Island, Sharjah, scheduled at 11.00am.
The Sharjah Arab Children Forum, organized by the General Department of Children Centres in Sharjah under the slogan “Hear us…we are the future”, is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA).
Reem BinKaram, Director of the General Department of Children Centres in Sharjah, along with key members from the organizing committee, will announce the total number of Arab children participating at the forum, as well as the total number of Arab countries participating from the Middle East and North Africa. The criteria for registration for the 12th edition of the Sharjah Arab Children Forum should include a delegation from every Arab country participating in the forum which consists of two boys and two girls. Children must be between 8 to 12 years old and they will be accompanied by an official supervisor with a functional link to the Ministry of Education in their respective countries.
BinKaram will also unveil a series of new training programs, educational workshops, and announce key initiatives carefully selected to reflect on the 12th edition forum’s slogan “Hear us….we the future”. BinKaram will define the importance and impact behind each program, as well as enlighten the value they aim to provide for all Arab children participating in the 12th edition of the forum.
The forum’s 12th edition is set to take place from March 28th until April 3rd, 2016, and will focus solely on developing and empowering children's skills, and providing them with inspirational, team-building and motivational programs that will enable to succeed in their future innovation and leadership roles.
