Beach Polo Cup Dubai (BPCD) announced today the four Team Sponsors and their teams participating in this year’s tournament as Team Vista Jet Bombardier played by Desert Palm 2, Team Cadillac (Middle East) played by Desert Palm1, Team Lindt played by the Swiss team and Team Autism Rocks played by Rhino/Dr. A. The announcement comes as part of the BPCD’s preparations for the 11th edition of the tournament being held on Friday 10th April & Saturday 11th April 2015, at Skydive Dubai, Dubai Marina. The 2015 edition of the Beach Polo Cup Dubai is being held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman Dubai Sports Council.

Each team will have three players with this year’s tournament providing a mix of UAE and international players participating. This year there are three players from the UAE being Saoud Khoory, who has been playing polo since the age of 14 and Tariq and Rashid Albwardy, sons of Mr. Ali Albwardy also better known as ‘the father of polo in UAE’. Saoud is playing for Team Autism Rocks, Tariq will be playing for Team Cadillac (Middle East) and Rashid will play for returning and defending champions Team Vista Jet Bombardier. The international players participating are mainly Argentinians, Swiss and UK players.

The Beach Polo Cup Dubai 2015 kicks off its celebrations this weekend with the Parade, on Friday 3rd April at The Walk, starting from Murjan JBR from 9:30am until 10:30am. This will include players, Dubai Police Super Cars and organizers.

Tickets to the highly anticipated social sporting event are now available on www.platinumlist.ae. The tickets are priced at AED 75 for One day and AED 125 for Two Days for the Shams Zone.
