Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa Named Both Dubai’s and Middle East’s Leading Villa Resort

Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa is celebrating a major coup after being crowned both ‘Dubai's Leading Villa Resort’ and ‘Middle East’s Leading Villa Resort’.

The accolade was presented to Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa at last night’s Middle East edition of the 22nd Annual World Travel Awards, held in Dubai. The World Travel Awards are some of the most fiercely contested, and each year, the world’s most remarkable resorts set the bar higher.

Jean-Francois Laurent, General Manager of Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, said: “It is an absolute pleasure to able to accept these awards on behalf of our hard-working team at the resort. Our Thai-inspired villas are some of the most unique in the region, particularly as we have the UAE’s first and only Over Water Villas, as well as 15 beautiful private Beach Pool Villas. We work hard to deliver truly inspiring hospitality and winning these awards allows us all to appreciate the pure passion that goes into running a successful resort or hotel.”

Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa resort offers a unique destination on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah, delivering the finest Arabian hospitality. With 293 rooms and villas, the resort boasts a collection of Over Water Villas as part of its striking Thai-inspired architecture, all with glass viewing panels to watch the sea-life beneath. One and Two Bedroom Beach Pool Villas offer the ultimate in luxury, each one boasting a private swimming pool, whilst the resort’s distinctive Lagoon Access Rooms are ideal for families and provide direct access to the lagoon inspired swimming pools from the balcony.

Lazy days can be enjoyed at Anantara’s 400 metre long private beach, as well as at the 50 metre shoreline infinity pool. Making the most of the exotic climate, a variety of water sports includes kayaking, wake boarding and paddle boarding, as well as diving and snorkelling adventures. The resort is also home to Dubai’s first ever Thai long-tail boat, which provides daily trips to Dubai Marina and back. A teens club, Chill and the Tuk Tuk Kids Club keep younger guests happily entertained, whilst four restaurants and two bars are the ideal place to while away a relaxing evening.
