In coordination with Medi Clinic, free health screenings were given to hotel staff, guests and visitors

Al Bustan Centre and Residence, the popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, organized a Health Screening Campaign for the hotel employees on April 7, 2015.
The campaign aims to educate the hotel staff in attaining a healthy body by maintaining key parameters for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol along with choosing healthy food choices and maintaining the standard Body Mass Index (BMI).
The event, in coordination with MediClinic, provided free health screenings to employees, guests, and visitors which include checkup on: total cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre and Residence imposed a more focused attention on the escalating threat posed by these health issues. “In our present lifestyle, health is a factor that is often overlooked. The health screening campaign emphasizes the commonly neglected health problems. We wanted them to take proactive actions to live a healthy lifestyle for their own benefit and their families by taking proper measures such as wholesome diet and doing regular exercise to maintain good health of body and mind,” he added.

Al Bustan Centre and Residence undertakes a series of programs for its employees every year to educate and promote good health.
Coinciding with the celebration of the World Health Day, the activity was initiated by ABCR’s Director of Human Resources, Ms. Liza Ortiz as part of the property’s corporate social responsibility program.
The Management Team led by Mr. Arun Kumar, Resident Manager, Mr. Yasser Moussa, Executive Assistant Manager and Senior Management also took part in the campaign.
Observed every 7th of April, World Health Day reflects on an annual theme on campaigns that address a particular public health issue which concerns the international community.
