The students of Al Mawakeb Schools, alma mater to some of the UAE’s most eminent citizens and residents, initiated a flower planting activity to celebrate 9 successful years in office held by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

As an initiative by the students of Al Mawakeb Schools, 9000 flower saplings were planted across both the campuses to symbolize the flourishing performance of Dubai and United Arab Emirates under Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership.

This floral dedication comes days after Sheikh Mohammed’s call to dedicate the celebrations of January 4th Accession Day to thank the UAE Armed Forces. He asked all individuals and organizations across the country to share a message of gratitude and support by using the campaign hashtag ‘guardians of the nation’ #شكراً_حماة_الوطن on Twitter and Instagram.
