454 investment opportunities of SAR 143B developed in industrial sectors: Alkhorayef

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources developed 454 investment opportunities, at SAR 143 billion, related to the target industrial sectors under the National Industrial Strategy in 2024, said Minister Bandar Alkhorayef.

Over 1,450 products have been added to the mandatory procurement list, in collaboration with the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, said Alkhorayef in his remarks featured in the ministry’s 2024 annual report.

More than 4,400 local factories have been integrated with major projects and state-owned enterprises, aiming to increase their reliance on and spending towards locally manufactured products, thereby supporting local manufacturers and strengthening local content.
