15 Years of Inspiring Moments to launch at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi

Marina Mall, the capital’s leading shopping destination, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with the launch of the 15 Years of Inspiring Moments festival. From 28 March to 11 April, visitors can enjoy 15 days of fun-filled activities at Abu Dhabi’s favourite mall.

From Burger House and Huguette to Guy Crêperies, Man’oushe Street and Meylas, food trucks will be stationed next to Marina Eye to offer food-lovers tasty treats with scenic views. Meanwhile, visitors of all ages can team up and compete in a series of life-size board games including scrabble and UNO, while little ones can get creative in a Warner Bros. arts and crafts workshop from 2:00pm to 10:00pm daily. Childhood favourites Tom and Jerry will add to the entertainment with live skits on stage from 5-8 April starting at 4:00pm until 9:00pm daily. The anniversary festival further features sales at participating stores, giving shoppers an opportunity to enter a raffle draw to win big prizes.

Commenting on the events, Tarek Tohami, Acting General Manager at Marina Mall, said: “It is with great pride that we celebrate Marina Mall’s 15th anniversary – and it is fitting for us to do it by creating more inspiring moments through this exciting calendar of events for the whole family to enjoy.” 

In addition to 15-60% off at select stores, shoppers can enter a raffle draw with exciting prizes up for grabs for 15 lucky winners, including a diamond jewellery set worth AED 70,000, a gold Porsche watch worth AED 28,000, airline tickets to Europe, among others.  Furthermore, for every AED 250 spent at any retail store or dining outlet at the mall, and for every AED 500 at Carrefour, shoppers will be awarded coupons to enter a live raffle draw on 11 April, 2016.

Wristbands to access the activities as well as the coupons can be purchased and collected from the mall’s main Customer Service Desk. All proceeds from sales will be donated to ‘Let Hope Shine’, which is an initiative by Marina Mall that aims to improve lives and create opportunities for people around the world.

Further celebrating the anniversary, the Marina Mall family led by Acting General Manager Tarek Tohami, yesterday joined together at 7:30pm to cut through a beautifully crafted 3D cake, featuring the whole Marina Mall project including the extension.
