Empower renews loyalty to the UAE and its leaders

HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world's largest district cooling services provider, led the company’s celebrations of the 44th UAE National Day and observance of Martyr's Day. 

In his speech at Empower’s headquarters, Bin Shafar expressed Empower’s deep respect to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country, and praised the theme of 'Spirit of the Union', that boosts loyalty to contribute to the overall development of the country.

Bin Shafar recalled the fruitful results of the Union, applauding the efforts of the founding fathers and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to keep the UAE high and proud. “We organise these celebrations to express our loyalty to this nation and to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses the Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, the UAE people and residents of this good land. We gather here today to reaffirm our belonging to this nation,” added Bin Shafar.

“This occasion helps strengthen our sense of appreciation of the Union, and its achievements. As the world's largest district cooling services provider, we consider it our responsibility to mark the UAE National Day with a high note, and observe Martyr's Day, and tell the world of the success stories of our country that have succeeded in turning a dream into a reality we live in today,” added Bin Shafar.

“As of Empower, We are moving confidently in implementing projects that are in line with UAE Vision 2021, and the Dubai Plan 2021. Our projects’ portfolio is expanding steadily and we are making sure to apply the highest international standards that meet the needs of the nation and its people and represent a rigorous application of the directives of its leadership,” added Bin Shafar.

“Today’s successes in district cooling services in Dubai are also results of the great efforts of Empower employees who are contributing to our growth and progress at the global level,” said Bin Shafar.

Empower has recently concluded its participation in the Innovation Week 2015 which included 800 events and initiatives spread over six days. The company underlined its innovative advancements in the District Cooling industry in Dubai to mark this nationwide significant event.

 “We are not only celebrating unity, but also the efforts of those who contribute immensely to this country, our wise leadership. Empower will continue to value 'Spirit of the Union' by learning from our leaders how to tackle challenges in the quest of a higher cause,” concluded Bin Shafar.
