Al Ain Zoo Participates at Qasr Al Hosn Festival

Al Ain Zoo will be participating in the third annual Qasr Al Hosn Festival, to be held at Qasr Al Hosn, Abu Dhabi from 11th – 21st February 2015.
The zoo’s participation comes in line with its effort to educate the public on the UAE’s rich heritage and wildlife in addition to the education and conservation programmes that are currently being adopted by Al Ain Zoo.

Commenting on the participation, Muna Al Dhaheri, the Chief of Conservation and Education at Al Ain Zoo said:
“Al Ain Zoo participation at Qasr Al Hosn comes in line with our commitment to educate the public about our nation’s rich heritage and conservation efforts. Al Ain Zoo is home to conservation programmes that are significant and strategic at a global level, offering the public various means to learn more about them.”

“Qasr Al Hosn is a unique platform for us to reach out to the public and cultivate a knowledge culture about our conservation efforts that focus on several aspects including animal management, wildlife sustainability and protection of desert species on an international scale.” She added
Throughout the 10-day festival period, the Al Ain Zoo team will be showcasing live shows including its unique bird show.
Al Ain Zoo, which is open daily from 9am to 8pm, is located on the UAE-Oman border and is a short drive from Dubai and from the UAE's capital city, Abu Dhabi. With the majestic Jebel Hafeet and the rich expanse of Green Mubazzarah as its backdrop, Al Ain Zoo is one of the city's leading attractions.
